INTRODUCTION:

Electronics and Communication Engineering sprang from the technological improvement in the telegraph industry in late 19th century and telephone early 20th It is a discipline linear and electronics such as tubes and or devices the radio and industry in century.engineering where non -active components electron semiconductor are utilized to design electronics circuit and system. The term denotes a broad engineering field that includes important subjects like analog electronics, digital electronics, Embedded system etc.

BOELAB. (BASICS OF ELECTRONICS)

This lab is common for all the branches of first year students. In this lab , students learn about basic testing instruments like digital multimeter , CRO , DSO. This lab is very helpful to understand the working and behaviour of rectifiers, flip flops, transistors, displays & logic gates at initial level.

D.E.LAB.
(DIGITAL ELECTRONICS)

This lab is purely related to digital system. This lab is also well equipped and in proper working condition . there are various types of ICs and equipments used in digital system designing. Students completes there mini projects based on digital logics. Various types of experiments like half & Full adder ^counters , registersare performed and many microcontroller and microprocessors ics are studied which are used in designing of automatic and robotic systems.

A.E. LAB.
(ANALOG ELECTRONICS)

We have a well-equipped analog electronics lab for 4th semester ECE students . Some experiments need display devices , so we have DSOs instead of CROs as DSO have good quality and high accuracy. Experiments such as PN junction diode characteristics , DIAC , TRIAC, rectifier ,clipper and clamper circuits are performed here. This lab is always open for those who are eager to learn more and do various projects work.

C.S- LAB.
(COMMUNICATION SYSTEM)

This is the basic lab for the core electronics & Communication Engineering students as here they practically learn about transmission and reception of signals and different modulation techniques. After going through theory topics, when students practically see those facts they gain more interest in the subjects. All the experimental kits are attached with DSOs for studying the waveforms.

N.T. LAB.
(NETWORK THEORY LAB.)

In this lab we design various type of system such as high & low pass filter and find various types of parameters such as Z – parameter, h- parameters. In this lab we use Pspice, tinapro and other software to design and analysis circuits and after that we design its hardware .this lab is very important according to research & Development point of wiev.

R&D. (RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENTS DEPARTMENTS)

R&D Departments conducts workshops and training on recent technology used in world for our all students. Our Ntudents are involved projects based on embedded system with the help of experienced Faculties.

EMEC LAB,
(ELECTRO MECHANICAL ENERGY CONVERSION):

This lab is for ECE third semester students where they learn about the relation between electronics and mechanical engineering. In a broader view, students learn the practical in implementation of DC motor, dc generators, three phase supply, star – delta connection etc. these topics are better understood in labs rather than craming the theory portions.

E.T. LAB.
(ELECTRICAL TECHNOLOGY LAB.)

This lab is common for all branches of first year students. This lab is well equipped with devices and instruments. We verify various theorems related to networks such as Ohmfs Law. The vininfs and Norton’s theorem etc. We prove KCL & KVL which are basic laws in electronics. Students are also taught to detect and repair faults.

SIGNIFICANCE

In the present era, the field of ECE plays an important role in almost every sphere of life. ECE department is established with all equipped laboratories research facilities. These labs provide plateform for learning not only theory but also practical aspects. ECE as a profession provides scope in the field of medicals, mobile communication, microwave & Radar engineering, VLSI design, Robotics and automatic control system, research, nanotechnology and much more.
